Overview of the Underwriter roleSellick Partnership is delighted to be supporting a leading and well-established insurance organisation in the recruitment of an experienced Underwriter. Key responsibilities of the Underwriter will include:*Supporting the development and delivery of underwriting strategy
*Defining and applying underwriting appetite, guidelines, and best practice
*Translating risk appetite into clear policies, processes, and frameworks
*Analysing data and market trends to inform decision-making
Required experience and qualifications of the Underwriter will include:*Proven experience within a general insurance underwriting role
*Strong technical knowledge of commercial or personal lines
*Experience working in a strategic, head office, or portfolio underwriting environment
*Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
