Job Description:
Our client, a fast-growing pharmaceutical clinical trials supply organisation based in Marlow, is looking for an experienced HR Adviser to provide trusted, high-quality generalist HR support to managers and employees. This role has a strong focus on Employee Relations, policy updates and recruitment across the UK, US and German markets and would suit either a full-time or part-time candidate.
The role is fully office based in Marlow and the salary is up to £44k (depending on experience) plus up to 10% bonus and excellent benefits and would suit an HR generalist or ER specialist.
Our client will consider either full time 8-4 or 9-5 or 3 or 4 full days or school hours.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead on recruitment activities, including acting as the first point of contact for candidates
*Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners
*Coordinate interview processes, assessments and selection activities
*Conduct interviews and provide recruitment support as required
*Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth integration for new starters
*Complete all pre-employment checks and onboarding documentation
*Support absence management and employee leaver processes
*Provide advice and guidance on employment law and employee relations matters, including performance and absence management
*Support and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
*Process employee changes, including contractual correspondence and HRIS updates
*Produce HR reports and metrics
*Support wider HR projects and initiatives as required
Skills/Experience
*Solid experience in HR and ER and ideally recruitment
*Experience in private sector essential
*CIPD qualification (part or fully qualified)
*Strong knowledge of HR best practice, employment law and recruitment processes
*Confident in handling challenging or sensitive conversations professionally
*Excellent organisational and time management skills
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
*Comfortable working independently and to a high standard
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
*A collaborative and team-oriented approach
*Flexible, adaptable and resilient
*Strong awareness of impact and sensitivity in people-related matters
