Job Title: Manual Machinist
Pay Rate: £17.80 per hour
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
About the Role:
FirstAchieve are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our client a global engineering company specialized in oil & gas, nuclear sector. This role involves operating manual turning equipment and lathe machines to produce high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate manual lathes and turning machines
*Read and interpret engineering drawings
*Set up and adjust machines for accurate production
*Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a manual machinist
*Strong knowledge of manual turning and lathe operations
*Ability to read technical drawings
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
