The Quality / Calibration Engineer will provide leadership and be responsible for day-to-day management and implementation of Calibrated Equipment and it’s System in line with key Aerospace requirements, fundamentally focusing around EN_9100 and traceability to National & International Standards.

Key Responsibilities*Maintain calibrated equipment across the business, managing both internal and external calibration requirements.
*Maintain QMS requirements in line with ongoing standard expectations (AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements).
*Prepare and organise internal audits, including NCR closure.
*Support customer requirements for annual audit activities.
*Adhere to company health and safety requirements and complete all required training.
*Process supplier and customer returns for non-conforming items.
*Promote performance improvement activities and quality assurance programs throughout the company.
*Identify and implement corrective and preventative actions.
*Carry out problem-solving activities within production.
*Identify and investigate trends from internal failure modes.
*Ensure QA activities and priorities are met to achieve on-time delivery (internally and externally).
*Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a professional and consistent working environment.
*Work flexibly, including potential travel between sites or customer locations, depending on business needs.
*Communicate directly with customer quality representatives when investigating complaints.
*Support and adapt to changes in standards, policies, processes, and products.
Skills and Qualifications / Experience*Calibration experience (practical knowledge and understanding).
*Strong understanding of EN 9100 requirements (minimum 3 years’ experience).
*Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
*Ability to work effectively under pressure.
*Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
