Data Analyst - London (Hybrid) - Azure, Databricks, SQL, Power BI - Up to £55,000

You’ll join a collaborative Global Data Team where quality, governance and reliability really matter. There’s a genuine focus on doing things properly, building sustainable solutions, and giving people the flexibility and support they need to do their best work.


You will work with:
*Business stakeholders, data stewards and data owners
*Data Engineers, Product teams and Senior IT stakeholders
*Azure-based data platforms including Databricks, DLT and Delta tables
*Data governance, migration and reporting initiatives across the business


What will be involved in the role:
*Identifying data quality risks early through stakeholder engagement and domain understanding
*Performing hands-on data profiling, discovery and quality checks at source
*Analysing root causes of data issues and driving corrective actions
*Supporting data migration by validating mappings, transformations and scripts
*Running reconciliation and post-migration quality checks
*Raising, tracking and resolving defects during trial loads and cutovers
*Translating business needs into clear, measurable data quality requirements
*Working with engineers to implement quality rules, constraints and monitoring
*Designing and maintaining data quality KPIs, dashboards and alerts
*Supporting governance practices, standards and continuous improvement

Key experience:
*Strong experience with SQL, Python or similar for data analysis and validation
*Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Live Tables and data quality frameworks
*Proven background in data profiling, cleansing, migration and reconciliation
*Understanding of data pipelines and engineering best practices
*Experience working with Power BI and data quality metrics
*Good knowledge of data governance, standards and regulatory requirements
*Comfortable working in Agile and Waterfall environments
*Confident communicator able to work across business and technical teams
