Well-established firm with a modern and forward thinking approach, seek a new recruit a ’Trainee’ level to grow their career at the firm.
Day-to-day, you will work alongside experienced and qualified professionals, learning all of the skills, processes and techniques of bookkeeping and general accounting for client companies, with some exposure to tax and audit too.


Duties:
*Work closely with Client Managers to support a diverse portfolio of clients, gaining exposure to a variety of industries and building strong professional relationships
*Prepare accurate and timely VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current regulations while helping clients stay on top of their financial obligations
*Assist in producing insightful management accounts, providing clients with valuable data to drive informed business decisions
*Take ownership of preparing year-end accounts, contributing to the smooth completion of financial reporting and statutory requirements
*Prepare tax returns for companies, partnerships, and sole traders, offering expert guidance and ensuring clients meet all deadlines with confidence
