Skills SEN Teacher (Home Tutor)
Salary: £24,800 - £28,800
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday - Friday, 08:15-16:00), Term Time
Are you a dedicated educator driven by the belief that every learner deserves a pathway to independence? We are seeking a Skills Teacher to join our inclusive community, specifically working as a Home Tutor for learners across Greater Manchester.
This role is about more than traditional classroom delivery; it is about empowering students to master the practical skills they need for life. You will be the architect of their success, blending vocational expertise with functional skills to ensure our learners are ready for the world beyond education.

Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver high-impact, differentiated learning programmes focused on life skills and practical vocational expertise.

*Act as a consistent point of support, promoting independence and engagement for pupils who may face significant barriers to education.
*Maintain a calm, structured, and safe learning environment through nurture-informed practice
Requirements:
*GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, alongside strong subject knowledge relevant to practical skills teaching.
*Must be a driver with access to a vehicle to support home tutoring across Tameside and Manchester.
*Proven experience working with the secondary age range and the ability to navigate complex profiles with patience and strategy.
*Dedicated to maintaining high standards of safeguarding and child-centred decision-making.
