The team you will join
The Shaping Excellence team provides clients with legal based training dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and skills of delegates from board members, senior leadership teams, line managers and employees across various industries. Our mission is to offer innovative and practical training solutions that ensure our clients remain compliant with the latest legal standards that will help take their organisation to the next level.
The work you will be doing
Responsibilities include:
*Work with our dedicated trainers to identify and engage with potential clients to promote and sell legal training programs.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat engagement, long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
*Develop a deep understanding of our training offering, the Shaping Excellence proposition, sector expertise and emerging industry trends and client needs.
*Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients to sell training (note, the role will not require the delivery of training to clients).
*Negotiate contracts and close sales aligned with client needs and firm strategy to meet or exceed sales targets.
*Collaborate with the Shaping Excellence Team and internal stakeholders to ensure client feedback is integrated into future training programs.
*Act as a key link between clients, the Shaping Excellence Team and fee earners, helping to identify opportunities where training can support wider organisational change, compliance and risk management.
*Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts and proactively manage the busy Shaping Excellence calendar.
*Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise the profile of the Shaping Excellence.
*Provide exceptional client service and support throughout the end-to-end client journey, from initial engagement through to delivery and follow on opportunities.

What we are looking for
*Proven experience in sales or business development in a legal, training or professional services environment.
*Strong knowledge of our legal training programs and the client need for training.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills.
*Strong negotiation and closing skills.
*Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
*Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to work independently.
*Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tracking tools.
*Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients.
Hybrid Working
Birketts is a flexible business which has embraced a hybrid working model where our colleagues enjoy a mix of home and office working. This role attracts a split of 60% office days and 40% working from home days per week.
