Job Description:
Role: Skilled Metal finisher
Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire
Salary: £15 Per Hour (DOE)
Hours: 39 Hours per week, with a 10 minute break & 30 min lunch break 1:00-1:30pm
Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm
Tuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm
Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm
Friday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime)
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Skilled Metal finisher (Polisher / Fettler) to join a fast paced design and manufacturing company in Sandy.
This interesting and varied "hands-on" role is working in building food processing machinery in Stainless steel. The role is working in a small polishing department of 4 metal polishing engineers.
You will need to have significant experience in polishing and fettering working on Stainless-Steel metal finishes. (Satin / Mirror / Shot Blast / Scotch-bright)
What to expect in this role:
*You will be required to work in a small vicinity with extraction but quite a dirty environment.
*You will also be required to work on large machinery outside of the polishing shop due to the magnitude of machines we are manufacturing in size.
*You may be required to go on-site from time to time to help assist in the installation of the equipment to customers.
