About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality instruction in English language and/or literature, supporting student development, and contributing to curriculum enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in English language and/or literature
*Develop and update course materials in line with academic standards
*Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and coursework
*Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students
*Support curriculum planning and development
*Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
*Participate in departmental meetings and academic activities
Requirements
*Master’s degree (or higher) in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field
*Prior teaching or lecturing experience preferred
*Strong communication and presentation skills
*Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
*Familiarity with modern teaching methods and digital learning tools
Desirable Skills
*Experience with curriculum development
*Knowledge of academic assessment standards
*Research experience or published work in a relevant field
*Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
