Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering Services Division are supporting a Specialist Industrial Machinery Manufacturing company based in South Yorkshire to recruit a Mechanical Installations and Service Engineer to join their busy Service team, who install and service bespoke machinery throughout the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Installations & Service Engineer include:


*Travel to customer sites to install bespoke manufacturing machinery
*Read engineering drawings and customer packs to ensure correct fitting, welding, and assembly of the machinery
*Liaise with the client on site and troubleshooting
*Complete ongoing servicing for machinery throughout the service contract
*PPMs and remedial mechanical repairs, and recommend any upgrades or replacements
*Completion of all paperwork


Essential experience and qualifications for the Mechanical Installations & Service Engineer include:
*Time Served Mechanical fitter from a special purpose/bespoke machinery/industrial machinery build background
*Apprentice trained/NVQ/BTEC/C&G mechanical qualification
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering background
*Willing to travel throughout the UK and overseas
*Understand and work to engineering drawings
*Welding skills
*Be able to install and service capital equipment
