Job Title: Internal Accounts Manager / Office Manager
Location: Salford Quays, Manchester (Office-Based)
Salary: From £35,000 + Performance Bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
The OpportunityA growing and highly regarded professional services firm is looking to appoint an Internal Accounts Manager / Office Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business.
This is a hands-on, dual-role position combining financial management, credit control, and invoicing with full ownership of office operations. You’ll be central to keeping the business running efficiently while supporting both sales and operational teams.
The RoleAccounts & Finance
*Prepare and issue client invoices (including complex billing structures)
*Calculate client benefit and produce accurate revenue calculations
*Manage credit control and reduce outstanding debtor days
*Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting
*Work closely with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy
Office & Operations
*Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the office
*Act as the central point for all administrative functions
*Support sales and operational teams with key processes
*Manage office systems, supplies, and organisation
*Ensure a professional and efficient working environment
Client Interaction
*Act as a key contact for invoicing and payment queries
*Build strong, professional client relationships
*Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For*Proven experience in accounts, finance, or office management
*Strong background in invoicing and credit control
*Experience managing financial processes end-to-end
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach
*Strong Microsoft Office and systems experience
Desirable:
*Experience within R&D tax or a similar specialist accounting environment
