Job Description:
A well-established construction and property services company based in Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the region.
The business operates across commercial construction, and property services related works, delivering high-quality solutions for a range of private and public sector clients
The Role
*Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
*Preparation of cost plans, budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting
*Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages
*Valuations, variations and change control
*Final account preparation and negotiation
*Working closely with project and site teams to drive commercial performance
*Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
The Candidate
*Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or property services
*Strong understanding of cost control, subcontractor management and reporting
*JCT and NEC experience (NEC experience advantageous)
*Commercially astute with a proactive approach
*Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
*Degree-qualified or equivalent industry experience preferred
This role would suit a QS looking for a long-term position within a well-run, privately owned construction and property services organisation offering exposure to varied and interesting projects
