An amazing Primary School in Eastleigh is seeking a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting children with their learning, with a particular focus on literacy and numeracy.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who is:
*Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
*Able to support teaching and learning within the classroom
*Skilled or keen to develop skills in supporting literacy and numeracy interventions
*Patient, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
*Confident working with individuals, small groups, and occasionally whole-class support
Key Responsibilities
*Provide targeted support in literacy (reading, phonics, writing) and numeracy
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
*Support pupils who may need additional encouragement or guidance
*Help create a positive, nurturing learning environment
*Contribute to pupil progress tracking and feedback
