Crowe Watson Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants with offices across the region in their search for a Business Services Semi Senior to join their expanding team. The role has been created in response to continued client growth and will see you working closely with a senior member of the firm, playing an integral part in the delivery and development of client services. As the first addition to this team, you will have the opportunity to shape its future, with a clear pathway for progression and the scope to take on increasing responsibility as the firm continues to expand. In time, this will include contributing to the growth of the team, with the opportunity to mentor and support junior staff as the function develops.

Key Responsibilities*Bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Bank reconciliations
*Assisting with self-assessment tax returns
*Supporting with accounts preparation where required
*Working closely with senior staff to deliver a high-quality service to clients
Requirements*At least two years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
*Strong bookkeeping and VAT experience
*Good working knowledge of accounting software
*Self-assessment experience preferred
*Accounts preparation experience beneficial but not essential
*Motivated, reliable, and keen to develop within a growing firm
