Our client, based in Southwest London, is currently recruiting for a Property Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary on offer is £ per annum.
The ideal candidate will have thorough understanding of Property Management and Building Safety and proven experience as a Property Manager.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Ensure compliance and statutory obligations are met through the correct service delivery when carrying out works orders on servicing, repairs, estates and planned works
*Work with the Head of Property Management for the preparation and proposal of financial plans, budget setting, and budget optimisation for the business area
*Responsible for managing a budget in excess of £1m for property and places department
*Manage repairs and renewals carried out by gas, electrical, plumbing, drainage and all other services, contractors under the stewardship of the business area
*Ensure that all statutory compliance obligations and requirements within the area responsible are met and consistent with up-to-date legislation, health & safety and best practice in relation to all job tasks carried out within the team
Experience required:
*Proven experience as Property Manager
*Strong contract management experience
*In house team management
*Budget management
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
*A good understanding of legislation and regulation affecting property management
*Familiarity with the proposed Building Safety and Fire Safety Bills
*Knowledge of strategies to manage high performance through people and contractors
