We are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Senior Export / Import Clerk to join their growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in international freight and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.


Key Responsibilities*Coordinate and manage international import and export shipments via Road, Air, and Sea
*Prepare and process all relevant shipping documentation, including:
*CMRs
*Bills of Lading
*Air Waybills
*Commercial invoices
*Packing lists
*Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, international trade laws, and Incoterms
*Liaise with transport providers, agents, and clients to ensure smooth shipment flow
*Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers
*Handle customs clearance processes and resolve any issues or delays
*Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
*Monitor shipment costs and support profitability


Requirements*Minimum 5 years’ experience in import/export or freight forwarding
*Strong experience in road freight operations
*Excellent knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures
*Solid understanding of Incoterms and global trade compliance
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments
*Excellent communication skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics systems
