Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a really well-thought-out, Top 30 Legal firm, based in Merseyside. You will be joining an multi-award-winning Personal Injury team, who have built up great relationships with their clients, empowering you to succeed.
Ideally, they want someone who has a real interest in Motor Insurance cases, and someone who has tangible experience of running a complex Litigated Motor Insurance Caseload (Knowledge of Part 7 Fast Track, OIC or MOJ is preferred). You will also need the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once, carefully analyse files & date and the ability to work well under pressure & tight deadlines.
In this role, you will be working in a team where you are advising on and defending litigated Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims for a wide range of insurer clients, including issuing counterclaims where appropriate. This team manages Personal Injury matters across Part 7 Fast Track, OIC and MOJ processes, in which the claim values range between £1,000 and £25,000. Some responsibilities for the role include: Assisting in proactively managing & progressing a litigated caseload of Motor Defendant Insurance cases up to conclusion; applying specific technical principles needed to drive the settlement of the case; Prioritising and organising work efficiently to make sure all work is completed by deadlines and more.
