Job Description:
Dispensary Operative
Location: Swindon
Type: Full-time, 12-Month Contract
Pay: £13.79 per hour + 22% shift allowance
Shifts: Mon-Fri (Rotating 07:00-15:00 / 15:00-22:45)
Overtime: Available on weekends
The Role
We are looking for a focused and reliable Dispensary Operative to join our manufacturing team. This is a critical role ensuring that raw materials are accurately measured, handled, and moved through our facility to keep production running smoothly.
You will be working in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment where safety, cleanliness, and precise record-keeping are the top priorities.
What you will be doing:
Dispensing: Accurately weighing and preparing raw materials for production.
Inventory: Using SAP and computer systems to track material movements and stock levels.
Storage: Managing ambient and cold-chain storage areas, including temperature monitoring.
Logistics: Operating forklifts, hand trucks, and high-bay cranes to move stock safely.
Compliance: Following strict Clean Room protocols and maintaining detailed documentation (GMP).
Maintenance: Keeping the dispensary organized, tidy, and audit-ready at all times.
What we need from you:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or dispensary role within a manufacturing environment.
Tech Skills: Comfortable using SAP, Excel, and automated monitoring systems.
Meticulous Nature: High attention to detail regarding numbers and data integrity.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work in PPE (including respiratory equipment) and operate warehouse machinery.
Reliability: A proactive approach to safety and a solid track record of attendance.
