Role Responsibilities - Upper KS2 TeacherAs an Upper KS2 Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Year 5 and Year 6
*Prepare pupils for KS2 SATs and end-of-key-stage assessments
*Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress and attainment
*Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities
*Support pupils’ transition from primary to secondary school
*Contribute to curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives
*Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and leadership staff
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Upper KS2 Teacher committed to delivering excellent outcomes for pupils.
Essential Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or Year 6) or strong readiness to step into the role
*Strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum
*Confidence in preparing pupils for SATs
*Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
*Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
*Right to work in the UK
Desirable*Experience improving pupil attainment in Year 6 SATs
*Subject leadership or curriculum development experience
*Commitment to professional development and collaborative working
