Job Description:
We are working closely with a business based in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales who are looking to appoint a Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to really strengthen your career in a growing and supportive business.
Responsibilities:
*Month-end reporting and reconciliations
*Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts
*Support of budget preparation and forecasts
*Management of a small, developing team - target setting and performance review
*Interviewing and inducting new members of the finance team
*Course mentor for AAT Apprentice
*Supporting in the preparation of statutory accounts
Requirements/Experience:
*Part or qualified ACCA/CIMA, or with the equivalent in experience
*Curious, proactive, and self-motivated: you are at your best in fast-paced environments
*Meet deadlines and manage your workload effectively
*A good communicator, both in writing and in person
*Comfortable working independently and staying motivated without close supervision
*A team player who’s happy to collaborate and work towards shared goals
