Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a talented Financial Planning & Analysis manager to join Breedon’s group finance team based at Breedon-on-the-Hill, near East Midlands Airport (circa 3 days a week in the office).

The role has significant exposure to the Group Chief Financial Officer and divisional Finance Directors.

The role is responsible for leading the Group’s financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and decision support activities as well as providing business partner support to head office companies. The role acts as a key strategic partner to the CFO, Executive Committee, and Board, ensuring high-quality insight, robust financial plans, and a clear performance narrative aligned to market expectations and Cognos system knowledge and experience is preferred.

In March 2025, Breedon expanded further into the US market with the acquisition of Lionmark Construction Companies LLC for USD$238 million.

*FP&A experience within a UK plc or similarly complex organisation
*Strong understanding of financial planning, performance management, and cash flow processes
*Financial modelling capability
*Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Experience with modern FP&A systems and analytics tools
