We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our clients’ operations on a temporary basis.
The job you’ll do
*The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a range of production equipment, with a strong focus on hydraulic systems and electric furnaces.
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
*Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
*Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
*Work with PLC-controlled machinery.
*Ensure minimal downtime and respond to breakdowns.
*Follow health & safety procedures.
*Complete maintenance records.
About You
*HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
*Have followed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship.
*Health and Safety knowledge in an Engineering environment.
*Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
