Financial Operations CoordinatorLocation: Park Royal
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible office hours) – early Friday finish
The OpportunityWe are seeking a Financial Operations Coordinator to join a busy and growing finance function in Park Royal. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of financial records, supporting operational reconciliations, and delivering accurate reporting to the management team.
This position is ideal for candidates with a background in finance or accounting who are confident handling reconciliations, reporting, and operational financial processes. You will gain exposure to a broad range of finance tasks within a structured and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities*Execute daily and weekly reconciliations for e-commerce and retail payment streams
*Calculate and investigate host margin deductions and resolve discrepancies
*Prepare and analyse weekly sales and aged debtor reports, including proactive debt management
*Conduct monthly stock and sales reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances
*Allocate payments using Sage and maintain accurate Excel-based financial records
*Manage monthly bank reconciliations and coordinate weekly UK and international payment runs
*Maintain accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations as required
*Assist the Management Accountant with audit requests, ad-hoc projects, and reporting
*Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy
Candidate Profile*Background in finance, accounts, or bookkeeping is essential
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and data-handling skills
*Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
*High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
*Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams
*Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment
