Reports to: Head of Faculty - Business & Computing

Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils of all abilities
*Deliver an ambitious Business curriculum that prepares pupils for GCSE and/or BTEC qualifications
*Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning within the Business department
*Create a positive learning environment where pupils are motivated, engaged and supported to achieve their potential
Knowledge & Experience:
*Ability to deliver consistently outstanding lessons in this subject to pupils of all ages and abilities
*Thorough knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum in the subject
*Knowledge & experience of Safeguarding & Child Protection issues
*Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, well developed planning & organising skills including time management
*A clear passion for your subject and the ability to enthuse and inspire others
Qualification Criteria:
*Qualified to at least degree level in the subject being taught
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Right to work in the U.K.
