Job Description:
If you’re a subject specialist who enjoys variety, an experienced teacher ready to step back into the classroom, or simply looking for a better work-life balance, supply teaching could be just what your week needs.
We’re partnering with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Shropshire, known for its strong sense of community and genuine commitment to helping every student thrive.
The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. Core subjects such as English, Maths, Science and PE form the foundation of learning, complemented by a wide range of option subjects that allow students to explore their interests. Languages are an important part of school life, with French introduced in Year 7 and opportunities to study German or Spanish from Year 8.
Learning extends far beyond the classroom. Extra-curricular activities are a real highlight, with drama, music and sport playing a central role, alongside regular educational trips that bring lessons to life. This focus on extended learning is reflected in the enthusiasm and engagement of the students.
Pastoral care is also a key strength. A dedicated pastoral team works closely with teaching staff and the SEN department to ensure every pupil feels supported, included and ready to learn. As part of a wider trust, the school benefits from strong partnerships with local primary and secondary schools, as well as close links with post-16 providers, helping many students transition successfully into further education after Year 11.
All you need to bring is your classroom confidence and subject expertise, we’ll handle the rest. Whether you’re seeking full-time supply, part-time flexibility or the occasional day in the classroom, we’ll help create a schedule that suits you. With lessons prepared, schools fully briefed and support only a phone call away, you can focus on what you do best, teaching and enjoying your day.
