More than just funding, they offer guidance and hands-on support tailored to the evolving needs of every individual and family they work with. For those who join their team, it’s an opportunity to be part of a passionate, committed organisation where every contribution matters and the work delivered makes a genuine difference. About the Role:
Our client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Events Manager to take the lead in delivering a diverse portfolio of events, from headline fundraising galas to tailored experiences for supporters and sponsors. This is a pivotal position within a small, purpose-driven team, well suited to a strategic and proactive individual who is confident managing events from concept to completion and passionate about creating impactful, engaging experiences. As Senior Events Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the growth of a worthwhile cause, whilst also being involved in talent booking for performers and VIP appearances.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Lead the end-to-end management of all events, from initial concept and planning through to delivery and evaluation.
• Talent booking for performers and VIP appearances.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, and risk assessments to ensure every event is professionally executed.
• Manage all event logistics, including liaising with venues and suppliers, coordinating catering and AV, overseeing health & safety compliance, and ensuring all insurance requirements are met.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to align event objectives with wider organisational goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key supporters, corporate sponsors, and service providers.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are used effectively.
• Provide leadership and support to junior team members and volunteers involved in event delivery.
• Regularly review and assess the success of events, applying insight and learning to improve future activities.
• Represent the organisation at meetings, briefings, and events with professionalism and enthusiasm.
What We’re Looking For:
• Significant experience as a Senior Events Manager within the charity, nonprofit, or cultural sectors, or within a busy events environment managing multiple projects.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale and high-profile events.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
• Confident communication and stakeholder engagement abilities – from senior stakeholders to suppliers.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong attention to detail.
• A genuine desire to make a difference through impactful, purpose-driven events.
Why This Role?
If you’re an experienced Senior Events Manager looking for a role where your skills can make a real-world impact, this is a fantastic opportunity. You’ll be part of a close-knit team where you can bring ideas to the table, shape the events strategy, and see the tangible results of your work. Whether it’s creating memorable experiences or strengthening supporter relationships, this is a hands-on role that is both rewarding and dynamic.
