IntroductionWe are looking for a reliable Production Operative with strong attention to detail to join a garment preparation team. This role involves preparing clothing items for production, ensuring machines are correctly set up, and assisting with finishing and packing customer orders.
Key Duties*Prepare garments for production, including loading correct thread colours and needles into machinery.
*Set up and support embroidery and heat press machines.
*Operate heat press equipment to apply transfers and designs.
*Ensure all materials and components are ready for production runs.
*Carry out quality checks on finished garments to ensure high standards are met.
*Pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
*Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements*Previous experience in clothing, textiles, or a similar production environment preferred.
*Familiarity with embroidery machines and/or heat transfer techniques highly desirable.
*Good manual dexterity and comfortable with hands-on tasks.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
*Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
