IFA Administrator Girton, Cambridge | Full-time | £25,000 – £30,000 (DOE) + Benefits
We are currently partnering with a highly regarded financial planning firm to recruit a Client Experience Executive(Financial Planning Administrator) to join their growing team in Girton, Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual—ideally with prior experience in financial services administration—who is passionate about delivering an exceptional client journey.
The RoleAs a Client Experience Executive, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners, Directors, and Client Relationship Managers while ensuring a seamless and professional experience for clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing and executing client instructions (e.g. new business, withdrawals) within agreed SLAs
*Maintaining and updating client records using systems such as Intelliflo, Smartsheet, and Figaro
*Preparing documentation including valuations, meeting packs, fee requests, and invoices
*Coordinating client meetings, managing diaries, and supporting advisers
*Acting as a first point of contact for client enquiries via phone, email, and in person
*Processing incoming and outgoing post, including special deliveries and bulk mailings
*Liaising with third-party providers to track business through to completion
*Supporting the wider team and contributing to overall business efficiency
You will also take pride in ensuring meeting rooms are prepared to a high standard and that clients receive a warm, professional welcome when visiting the office.
About You*Previous experience in an administrative role within financial services (preferred)
*Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
*Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
*Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach
*Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Experience with back-office systems (e.g. Intelliflo) is advantageous
Personal qualities:
*Self-motivated and proactive
*Positive, "can-do" attitude
*Comfortable working under pressure
*Strong sense of accountability and professionalism
Qualifications & Development*Willingness to complete CII R01 (Financial Services, Regulation & Ethics)
*Support provided to progress towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
Salary & Benefits*£25,000 – £30,000 basic salary (depending on experience, with some flexibility for strong candidates)
*23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (pro-rated from start date)
*Holiday entitlement increases with service:
*+1 day after 2 full holiday years
*+1 additional day after 5 full holiday years
*Full training and ongoing professional development
Working Arrangement*Office-based in Girton, Cambridge
*First 6 months: 100% office-based to support training and development
*Thereafter: flexible working in line with statutory requirements
