NEW OPPORTUNITY – Energy OfficerNorth Northamptonshire Council
We’re working with North Northamptonshire Council on an exciting interim opportunity within the Council’s Energy team. This is a great role for someone looking to support a fast-moving energy and sustainability function within a public sector environment.
You’ll work closely with the Energy Manager to support day-to-day operational energy activities, helping to ensure accurate data, effective reporting, and smooth delivery of energy and carbon reduction initiatives.
Role DetailsContract: 3 months initially
Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35, via umbrella)
Location: North Northamptonshire (2 days onsite / 3 days remote)
Start: ASAP
Role SummarySupport the Energy Manager with operational energy tasks including utilities billing, meter readings, energy data management, carbon reporting, and assisting with renewable energy and efficiency projects.
Key Requirements*Experience working with energy data, utilities, or energy management
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
*Ability to support projects and work collaboratively with stakeholders
*Familiarity with sustainability, carbon reduction, or energy reporting
