£110-£120 per day

Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

Long Term Futures is seeking a calm, confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support pupils across Key Stage 2 with social, emotional and behavioural needs in a supportive Harrow primary school.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a behaviour-focused position and can provide clear structure, strong boundaries and consistent support, while building positive relationships with pupils. You will play a key role in helping children regulate emotions, manage behaviour and re-engage with learning.

About the Role
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and pastoral team, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group behaviour support across KS2
* Supporting emotional regulation using calm, structured and consistent approaches
* Managing challenging behaviour using de-escalation strategies
* Reinforcing clear expectations, routines and boundaries
* Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult
* Supporting pupils to re-engage with learning following incidents
* Contributing to behaviour plans and feeding back to staff
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can remain composed under pressure while maintaining a firm but fair approach.

Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Calm, resilient and confident in a behaviour-focused role
* Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
* Proactive and committed to a long-term placement
