Residential Legal Secretary
Location: Stafford
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and organised Residential Legal Secretary to join a busy and well-regarded law firm in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team, providing key administrative and secretarial support to fee earners within a residential conveyancing department.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing full secretarial support to residential conveyancing fee earners
*Preparing legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, transfers, and completion statements
*Managing client files from instruction through to post-completion
*Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties
*Diary management and coordinating appointments
*General administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry
Requirements
*Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within residential conveyancing
*Good understanding of the conveyancing process
*Strong typing and IT skills (experience with case management systems is advantageous)
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
