Family Solicitor
Location: Birmingham
Department: Family Law
Reports to: Head of Family Department
Hours: Full-time
About the Role
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join our client’s dynamic team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of family law matters while delivering exceptional client care.
What You’ll Do
*Provide expert legal advice and representation on family law issues including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, domestic violence, and cohabitation disputes.
*Draft and negotiate key legal documents such as prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, and consent orders.
*Prepare cases for hearings and represent clients in court when required.
*Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with SRA standards.
*Build strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the process.
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Solicitor with a valid Practising Certificate.
*5+ years PQE in family law.
*Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
*Excellent communication and client care abilities.
*Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
