Trade Sales Manager
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum DOE
Location: Brentwood
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing specialist within the luxury sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trade Sales Manager to lead a B2B sales function, drive trade channel growth, and build long-term professional customer relationships.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of a key revenue stream within a fast-paced, specialist environment, working closely with senior leadership to shape and execute commercial sales strategy.
The Role
As Trade Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Trade Sales Team, driving performance against targets, and ensuring high standards across customer service, pricing, and process compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
*Leading and managing the Trade Sales Team, with responsibility for activity levels, performance, and KPIs
*Driving daily sales activity to achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets
*Developing and strengthening relationships with existing trade customers while identifying and onboarding new business
*Working closely with senior management to implement and execute sales strategies
*Overseeing outbound sales activity, quoting, account management, pricing, and margin control
*Ensuring all team activity aligns with internal processes, SOPs, and credit-safe procedures
*Coaching, motivating, and holding the team accountable in a fast-moving, target-driven environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a confident, commercially focused sales leader with strong B2B experience. You will ideally bring:
*Proven experience in Trade Sales, B2B Account Management, or Sales Management
*A background within automotive, luxury goods, aftermarket parts, industrial supply, wholesale, or similar trade-led sectors
*A demonstrable track record of leading teams in high-pressure, sales-driven environments
*Experience managing KPIs, pipelines, daily activity, and revenue targets
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and challenge performance
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both customers and internal teams
*A strong commercial mindset, with an understanding of pricing, margins, stock flow, and sales processes
*A highly organised, detail-driven approach and confidence making informed decisions
