We are working with an excellent company located in Huddersfield who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join them with the view to be trained up to become a junior management accountant and report into the financial controller.
You will be joining a team of 3 in finance with the opportunity to progress. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge in accounts - and would suit someone with a practice or industry background.
Duties include:
*Assisting with monthly management accounts
*Assisting with budgets and variance analysis
*Assisting with accruals, prepayments, journals and fixed asset register
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations including bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations.
*Assist with credit control activities, including debtor chasing and posting receipts.
*Support purchase and sales ledger activities as required
*Posting invoices and setting up new accounts.
*Prepare accurate and timely financial information upon request for members of the senior management team.
*Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.
*Assist with payroll processing and all payroll queries
*Other adhoc duties within finance.
