Finance / Payroll Assistant (Full-Time - 5 Days per Week)

The Role
As a Finance / Payroll Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all processes. You will work closely with senior leadership and administrative staff to maintain high standards of financial management.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing payroll and ensuring timely and accurate salary payments
*Managing purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliations
*Supporting budget monitoring and financial reporting
*Maintaining financial records in line with school policies and regulations
*Liaising with staff, suppliers, and external stakeholders
*Assisting with audits and compliance requirements
Requirements
*Previous experience working in a school-based finance role is essential
*Strong knowledge of payroll processes and financial procedures
*Familiarity with school finance systems (e.g. SIMS, FMS or similar) is highly desirable
*A relevant degree is preferred
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
