Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next long-term opportunity? Do you enjoy the variety of working across year groups while having the stability of ongoing placements?
Reed Education is currently working with a number of primary schools across the Wakefield area who are seeking skilled and confident HLTAs for long-term roles, covering both part-time and full-time positions. These opportunities involve supporting pupils across all primary year groups, from Early Years through to Key Stage Two.
This is an excellent opportunity for HLTAs who want consistent, rewarding work within supportive school settings.
The role:Depending on the school and placement, your responsibilities may include:
*Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
*Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
*Leading whole-class teaching, small group sessions or targeted interventions
*Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
*Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning
*Working closely with teaching staff and senior leaders
We’re looking for HLTAs who:*Have significant experience working within primary schools
*Hold a relevant HLTA qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification)
*Are confident working across all primary year groups
*Can manage a classroom effectively and engage pupils positively
*Are flexible, professional and reliable
*Are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
