Description
Payroll
*Run monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll, including salary, bonus, deductions, pensions, and statutory adjustments.
*Collaborate with the People Team and Director of Finance to review monthly amendments and obtain approvals.
*Process employee payroll payments through NatWest and Royal London for pensions and salary sacrifices.
*Produce month-end payroll reports, set up PAYE payments to HMRC, and generate P60s at year-end.
*Prepare and manage bonus estimates and final bonus statements, including bonus sacrifice payments.


Finance
*Collate weekly timesheet information, update utilisation spreadsheets, and submit to supplier portals.
*Track outstanding purchase orders and overdue invoices.
*Raise monthly invoices, process receipts, and reconcile.
*Process consultant weekly expense claims
*Manage purchase ledger: record supplier invoices, approve, and prepare payment runs.
Profile
A successful Payroll and Finance Assistant should have:
*Experience in a similar role.
*Proficiency in payroll systems and financial software.
*A thorough understanding of payroll legislation and accounting principles.
*Strong communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
*Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
