Job Description:
We’re seeking a qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) to join a growing family investment company with a diverse portfolio in the UK and overseas. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who wants to play a key role in shaping the future of a dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintenance and reconciliation of financial records (5 Xero companies)
*Speak regularly with accounting and management teams at investee companies
*Maintain an extensive and detailed cash flow that reports actual spend and reforecasts weekly
*Set up weekly supplier payment runs for approval
*Respond to ad hoc information requests from Chief Operating Officer and the Chairman
*Submit VAT returns
*Payroll
*Assist Chief Operating Officer with a range of commercial tasks, such as renewing insurance
*Alongside the extensive & detailed cashflow, maintain individual project budgets vs. actuals & correspond with the project manager, QS etc.
*Publish and email periodic invoices to tenants & associated companies.
*Basic HR tasks for example entering details into template contracts and monitoring holidays
About You
*Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or CA) with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience.
*Experience in the food, beverage, or property sector preferred.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for operational detail.
*Confident communicator able to translate financial insight for non-financial teams.
