Job Description:
Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our client based in Hythe. This role involves delivering palletised goods via a Palletline network, ensuring timely and professional service to customers.
Role Details:
*Start time: 18:00
*Monday to Friday
*Trunking work from our depot to the Birmingham Palletline hub and back
*No multi-drop involved
Responsibilities:
*Carry out trunk runs safely and efficiently
*Ensure timely collections and deliveries between depots
*Complete all relevant paperwork and PODs accurately
*Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
*Adhere to all driving and tachograph regulations
Requirements:
*Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
*Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
*Previous trunking experience preferred
*Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
*No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
