Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Hythe. This role involves delivering palletised goods via a Palletline network, ensuring timely and professional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised freight
*Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and within scheduled timeframes
*Safely load and unload goods using tail lift and pump truck where required
*Complete all relevant paperwork and PODs accurately
*Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
*Provide a high level of customer service at all delivery points
*Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and health & safety procedures
Requirements
*Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
*Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
*Previous multi-drop or pallet network experience preferred
*Good geographical knowledge
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Working Hours
*Start time: 08:00 AM
*Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required)
