What you will be doing

You will play a vital role in supporting production through efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, ensuring smooth operations within a safety-conscious environment. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will contribute to maintaining high standards and meeting customer requirements.
*Accurately record goods information and report discrepancies promptly.
*Prepare, complete, and deliver orders on time, liaising with couriers or using company vehicles.
*Maintain effective stock control within the company’s reporting system.
*Raise Purchase Orders for secondary operations such as subcontracting.
*Assist with internal and external customer support activities.
*Keep work equipment, vehicles, and workstations clean, safe, and well-maintained.
*Participate in training initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.
*Report hazards and near misses, championing health and safety policies.


What we are looking for

The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and has previous experience in a logistics or general operative role within an engineering or manufacturing setting. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
*Counterbalance and powered pallet truck certification is desirable.
*Experience with ERP systems such as EFACS is advantageous.
*Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
*Confident working independently and as part of a team.
*A committed approach to health and safety practices.
