Job Description:
Learning Support Assistant
Winchester
Start date: ASAP
Temporary (possibility of a permanent position for the right educator)
You will be expected to work Monday to Friday during term time to provide continuity for the children. Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm and will occasionally include lunchtime supervisor duties.
Previous experience working in schools or an educational based setting is essential.
£92.63 a day
Applicants should have:
*Previous experience of working with children in a primary setting
*Can support the children to become independent learners
*Has knowledge of KS1/KS2 curriculum
*An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one

*Has a passion for working with children, and helping them improve in character through developing their resilience and mindset
*Is flexible, energetic, resilient and committed to working with all children, including those who may need higher levels of support in order to learn
*Has the creativity to design activities for the year group to encourage and engage children
*Knows and is interested in how children learn
*Knows the importance of keeping children safe
*Is a team player, able to inspire and work in partnership with staff, parents and pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
