Job Description:
My client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Data Administrator to join their large campaign marketing team. This role involves handling internal processes and systems, liaising with marketing teams, and managing data with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. Advanced Excel skills are a must.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Handle internal processes and systems, including uploading data and promotions to the sales system and working directly with our eCommerce team.
*Liaise with marketing teams to establish current promotions, upload them to the sales system, and collaborate with the eCommerce team.
*Utilize pricing spreadsheets and understand margins at a basic level.
*Employ strong Excel skills for data manipulation, measurement, and analysis of large data sets.
*Prepare marketing reports as required, including ROI on campaigns, promotional activity, supplier sales, and manipulate sales data to analyse marketing activity and highlight findings.
*Prepare, raise, and send invoices and stock claims to suppliers.
*Maintain an up-to-date marketing database, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
*Manage the administration of the advertising program, ensuring no deadlines are missed and negotiating with suppliers for the best pricing.
*Undertake day-to-day administration in support of the marketing team, including filing, photocopying, and mailing.
*Assist with various marketing activities, attend training courses, exhibitions, and seminars as required.
*Manage various monthly administrative tasks and support team members across departments as necessary.
*Aid the Events team in keeping the marketing area tidy and packing materials for events.
*Attend external events and exhibitions as directed (infrequently).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Experience in data interpretation, manipulation, and interrogation with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Sort, Filter, Basic formulas, Margins, Pivot tables, V-lookups).
*Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
*Organizational and prioritizing abilities.
*Fluent in both written and spoken English, with examples expected at interview stages.
*Desirable: Creative flair, analytical and commercial skills.
*Useful: Experience with QlikView or ERP software systems like JD Edwards or SAP.
Education & Qualifications:
*Preferably educated to degree level, though CIM or other marketing or business qualifications are acceptable.
*Required to study and pass the BDIA Introduction to Dentistry course.
