Job Title: Front of House, Receptionist (8706)
Location: Reigate, Surrey
Salary: £12.71 to £14.42 DOE (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: Shifts are daytime 7-3 / 3-11 working 5 days over 7, not night shifts.
About the Role
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded hospitality venue in the Surrey Hills, is seeking a Front of House Receptionist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in hospitality, as well as for experienced hotel reception professionals seeking their next challenge.
The role is highly customer-facing and requires a warm, professional, and proactive individual who can deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure.
Key Responsibilities
*Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner
*Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently
*Handling reservations, enquiries, and guest requests
*Providing information about services, local attractions, and amenities
*Supporting the wider front of house team as required
*Handling payments and maintaining accurate records
*Ensuring the reception area is clean, organised, and presentable at all times
About You
We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds:
Entry-Level Candidates:
*Passionate about hospitality and customer service
*Previous experience in retail, cafés, bars, or customer-facing roles is beneficial
*Willingness to learn and be trained (including barista or bar service skills)
*Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Experienced Candidates:
*Proven experience in a hotel reception or front office role
*Confident using booking systems and handling guest relations
*Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
*Ability to lead shifts and support junior team members where required
