Portfolio Manager - Development Finance
London | Hybrid (50/50)
£65,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance (up to £67,000 for exceptional candidates) + Bonus
A leading specialist lender is looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join its growing Development Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong property lending/development finance experience to manage a portfolio of residential development loans, monitor project performance, and work closely with borrowers, surveyors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track and within risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities*Manage and monitor a portfolio of development finance loans
*Conduct regular site visits and assess project progress
*Review cashflows, budgets, build costs and timelines
*Identify risks/early warning indicators and recommend solutions
*Prepare amendment papers, credit memos and restructuring proposals
*Liaise with surveyors, valuers, lawyers and borrowers
*Support portfolio reporting and annual credit reviews
About You*Strong experience in development finance/property lending
*Good understanding of UK residential development finance
*Analytical with excellent attention to detail
*Confident managing stakeholders internally and externally
*Happy to travel for regular site visits
