My client is seeking a dynamic Social Content Creator who is passionate about short-form video and mobile-first storytelling. This role is hands-on, requiring daily filming, editing, posting, and engaging. You will manage organic social content across three distinct brands, ensuring the content is native, on-trend, and drives real engagement.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
*Film primarily on iPhone and edit using CapCut Pro or native in-app tools.
*Lead and participate in weekly shoot days, capturing lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, trend-led, and reactive content.
*Confidently appear on camera for unboxings, demos, trend videos, and community content.
*Spot emerging trends early and adapt them in a brand-appropriate way.
*Maintain strong hooks, pacing, and platform-native editing styles.
*Manage posting schedules across Instagram and TikTok, ensuring a clear and organised content calendar.
*Post daily Instagram Stories using interactive features like polls, Q&As, and behind-the-scenes content.
*Actively engage with followers through comments and direct messages, maintaining the correct brand tone.
*Identify and connect with relevant micro-creators for influencer and user-generated content support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*1–2+ years’ experience in social content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form video (brand or personal channels).
*Deep understanding of social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, including their algorithms, hooks, and SEO.
*Confident and fast editor with a strong visual eye.
*Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple content streams.
*Comfortable on camera and able to confidently step in front of the lens when required.
*Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
*UK-based and able to attend weekly in-office shoot days in Strood, Rochester.
