Salary: £45,000-£55,000+ bonus
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing business in East Yorkshire to recruit a Production Manager. This is a hands on leadership role where you will take ownership of shopfloor performance, team engagement and operational delivery.

The Business
This is a well established manufacturing operation supplying into a range of industrial sectors. The site has a strong core team and a leadership group focused on improving performance through structure, accountability and continuous improvement.
The Role
As Production Manager, you will lead manufacturing operations and ensure targets are delivered safely, efficiently and consistently. You will:
*Lead and embed a safety first culture across the shopfloor
*Build engaged, accountable teams through visible leadership and clear communication
*Deliver production targets across quality, delivery, cost and efficiency
*Balance labour and materials to ensure production plans are achieved
*Improve production flow, utilisation and output while reducing waste
*Use KPIs such as OEE, OTIF and downtime to drive performance improvements
*Lead structured problem solving and root cause analysis
You will work closely with other departments on site to ensure smooth day to day operations and alignment with wider business objectives.
The Person
To be successful as Production Manager, you will need to bring strong manufacturing experience alongside a people focused leadership style. You must have:
*Proven experience as a Production Manager within an industrial manufacturing environment
*Experience working in fabrication, machining or production line settings
*A people centric approach with a track record of building engaged teams
*Experience delivering results across safety, quality, cost and efficiency
*Strong continuous improvement experience using lean principles
*Solid problem solving capability with experience of root cause analysis
It would also be beneficial if you have:
*A recognised safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely
*Experience managing budgets and operational costs
*Strong planning, prioritisation and IT skills
