Job Description:
We are looking for a Community and Events Fundraising Officer who would be interested in a development-focused community fundraising role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, establishing new networks, and growing income in areas where the hospice is not yet widely known.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in Essex office

The Role
Map and research the new area to identify key opportunities, networks, and potential supporters.
Lead the development of community fundraising activity across a newly defined geographical area.
Establish and maintain relationships with community groups, schools, faith groups, clubs, and local businesses.
Identify and develop new community fundraising opportunities within the new hospice catchment area.
The Candidate
Knowledge and understanding of fundraising
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of building relationships with supporters
Experience in community fundraising or relationship building roles
Full UK Driving license and access to a vehicle
