Private Client Tax Manager / Senior - Trusts & EstatesOverview
A well-established and highly regarded specialist tax and accounting firm with offices in the South East and London is looking to expand its Private Client team. The firm works with a high-quality client base, including UK and international high-net-worth individuals, families, and owner-managed businesses.
The business offers a holistic service, going beyond traditional compliance to support clients with broader financial and strategic matters. This includes working closely with family offices, supporting finance functions, and providing trustee and estate administration services.
The RoleThis role will focus on managing a portfolio of private clients, with a particular emphasis on trusts and estates, alongside delivering a range of advisory projects.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a portfolio of trust and personal tax clients
*Preparing trust accounts and trust tax returns, including R185s
*Preparing inheritance tax (IHT) returns and estate tax returns
*Preparing personal tax returns for a range of clients
*Supporting Directors with ad hoc advisory and planning work across trusts, estates, and private client tax matters
The advisory work is varied and will provide exposure to complex and interesting client scenarios.
About You*Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, STEP/TEP or equivalent)
*Operating at Senior level and looking to step up, or currently at Manager level seeking the next challenge
*Strong experience across private client tax, particularly trusts and estates
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters in a clear and straightforward way
*Comfortable managing your own portfolio while also contributing to wider team efforts
*Motivated to continue developing technically and professionally
